I am a Johnsonville High School graduate, who is currently in my fifteenth year of teaching. I live in Johnsonville with my husband, Steven, my daughter, Ella, and my son, Colin. Both of my kids currently attend JHS. I take each student's success personal and strive to do all that I can to help them reach their potential.

I graduated from Francis Marion University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I received my endorsement for Gifted and Talented in 2014 and then in 2017 I graduated from Concordia University Portland with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a master's degree in Special Education. I also received my AP English Certification in 2019.

My first teaching position was at Hemingway High School where I taught from 2009-2017. I then taught at Odyssey Online Learning from 2017-2019, and I began teaching at Johnsonville High School in 2019.
