Student Recognition

100% Effort, 100% of the Time

Students demonstrating 100% effort 100% of the time were recognized and given "100% Effort" t-shirts. These students were selected by their teachers for their work ethic and commitment to giving their best effort 100% of the time.

Mrs. Ruetterman's English 4 Class

Wednesday, March 1st, guest speakers came in to speak with Mrs. Ruetterman's English 4 students regarding resources offered by SC Works, and to inform them on Teen Dating Violence.  SC Works speakers included Ms. Tawanda Epps, and Ms. Latisha McElveen.  Pee Dee Coalition speakers included Ms. Asia McFadden and Ms. Harriet. Lydia's Nest speaker included Mrs. Barbara Black.

Read Across America Week

Students and staff had fun reading everyone’s shirts on “Read Across America Day” and choosing free books from the library. Students who checked out books registered for prize drawings for canteen vouchers and Starbooks Café vouchers.
