Throughout the week of November 15-19, 2021, the JHS Student Government conducted a canned food drive to donate items to the Caring and Sharing food bank. Students donated 4,111 items making this canned food drive the most successful in school history. Mrs. Rebekah Ward’s first block class donated the most items, submitting 2053 items. All of these items will be used to assist local families throughout the upcoming holidays. We would like to thank Coach Brian Welch and the JHS Student Government for organizing this service project and all of the students who donated items. We would also like to thank Mr. Tuten, Ms. Horton, and Ms. Prosser for their support throughout this endeavor.
