College Tour
April 17, 2018

A group of Johnsonville High School students, consisting of 24 sophomores and 17 juniors, went on a college tour on April 17, 2018 to the following institutions: Charleston Southern University, South Carolina State University, USC-Beaufort (Bluffton), and USC-Salkahatchie (Walterboro). The tour of the four institutions was a great experience for the students. The students learned valuable information and were able to ask questions about each of the institutions. The students visited the different buildings and dorms on each of the campuses. During the visits at each of the institutions, the tour guides talked with the students about their experience in college and stressed to the students the importance of studying, getting their work done, and time management.

The students really enjoyed the college tours, which gave them the opportunity to learn about different colleges here in South Carolina.

Thanks to the Johnsonville High School faculty and staff for supporting the college tour. Special thanks to: Mr. Sam Tuten, Principal; Mrs. Renee Fish, and Mrs. Tracy Sullivan for being chaperones on the college tour. Also, I would like to thank Addison Tour Bus and Mr. Joe (bus driver) for transporting Johnsonville High School student and staff on the college tour.
